Food Parc 839 6th Ave New York, NY 10001 Food Parc is an eatery comprised of a burger shop (3Bs), cafe (The Press), italian restaurant (Fornetti), and asian fusion (Red Farm Stand) restaurant. I spend too much time fixing other people’s online creative assets that when I get home, I want to quickly make, eat, and document… and call it a night. I usually don’t survive past watching a [...] There was a great article a few weeks back in the NY Times about Bushwick collectives. It actually features one of my favorite Bushwick restaurants. Roberta’s, for example, the locavore pizzeria near the Morgan Avenue L stop, acts as a kind of community headquarters for area residents and local business owners. In a [...] There is a new coffee place right near the corner of Troutman and Irving, right near Maria Hernandez Park. It’s a cute place with a LARGE seating area out back, both indoors and outside. It’s super laid back with good lattes and hot chocolate and just the usual fare of cookies and [...] What’s really exciting these days are the new places popping up all over Bushwick Brooklyn! We recently went to this great small bar on Flushing Ave, called Narrows Bar. There’s a wine store right around the corner from Roberta’s, and next to that this new Sushi place.

 "There is very little that I cannot / wouldn't eat. However, Ryan was able to get a good laugh out of a panicked look I had on my face while drowning back raw baby squid with beer."  Ryan needs to write a blurb here about himself. Like the time he almost lost his shit over the greatness that is Japanese Bento and set lunches. Needless to say, we both like to eat very much. |
