Taz Cafe84 William St # 2 New York, NY 10038-4601
I love going to Taz, near work, for a really good well rounded affordable salad. Seriously. One meat and six veggies for $5.99. You can’t beat that. AND they have a lot of patrons, so they have a variety of lettuce and [...]
I went to THE BBQ place. By the time I got there, past 1 o’clock, they were out of the Kobe Beef Brisket. I was disappointed but was met with a HUGE platter of ribs. Since Mark tried the pulled pork last time and expressed a little disappointment, I tried to ribs. [...]
Bennie’s Thai Cafe 88 Fulton St New York, NY 10038-2807
This is my favorite downtown thai place. The lunch flavorful, affordable, quick, and delicious. I swear either by the roast pork platter or steamed chicken with ginger sauce. The pork platter comes with roast pork, chinese sausage, and half of a seasoned [...]

In the Wall St. Chase Plaza, they had an amazing food fair with all the neighboring restaurants. My coworkers enjoyed filet minion steak sandwiches, lamb chops, and cupcakes. I ended up getting a lobster roll, oysters, and a delicious cup of spicy ceviche. They have this annually, and everyone looks forward to this.

"There is very little that I cannot / wouldn't eat. However, Ryan was able to get a good laugh out of a panicked look I had on my face while drowning back raw baby squid with beer."
Ryan
Ryan needs to write a blurb here about himself. Like the time he almost lost his shit over the greatness that is Japanese Bento and set lunches. Needless to say, we both like to eat very much.
This is where Umi and Ryan discuss food There will be food reviews, recipes, links to resources, food news, and general food talk.
This website was coded in textwrangler on a mac by Umi H. She and her cat spent many hours one night not sleep or chasing shadows on a wall.
